While watching your video my four year old heard you reading. She came over and sat next to me and watched you read the story. This was a kind thing for you to do for Kaia. Mr. C
This was fantastic. We sat and watched the whole thing. Kaia loved it. She immediately asked if we could read a book too, so we recorded her reading Baby Bear, well not read she has memorized it.
I am writing a blog post about this entire experience and I will post the video there. Thank you so much; this was way cool.
For me, Dr. Strange's class has been primarily for professional development. I enjoy learning about all the tools he has taught us and discovering new tools, but for the most part-- I blog to learn.
I think it's really great the way you took your experience a step beyond and made it so personal. You and Trescher have really shown me the importance of becoming personally invested, not just professionally.

To Anthony- thank you for the acknowledgment and compliment. I became personally invested when I read Kaia's blog and saw the baby pics of Skyelar. I watched a video of Kaia reading a couple books and remembered how I used to read so much when I was younger. I still have my favorite books (there are a lot because I read so much!) and I thought it would be fun to read one to Kaia. This took me about 30 minutes to make and was so easy to put up on the blog.

I think I will read some AA Milne. His books are still my favorites from my childhood.
